Farming has a history in our family. We have been farming for several generations in Georgia. As far back as five generations have been involved in working the Georgia dirt in order to grow what was needed to support our families and neighbors. Making a difference in people’s lives is important to us.

We focus on sustainable agriculture, which is to say that we are focused on meeting society’s food and textile needs, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs. We are working hand-in-hand with farmers throughout the Southeast to come up with unique ways to make farming relevant and secure for the future. We do this through relationships that tie us together from farm-to-table foods, grain-to-glass beers, and seed-to-science hemp products.

Our farms are organically certified, and we grow everything we harvest that way. We farm the way it has been done for eons, using the things God has given us to raise our crops and fields to be as healthy and bountiful as they can be. It is a far more challenging way to grow, but we have found, for what we want to give to our families, friends, neighbors and customers, that is what matters most.

We also feel natural resource management is a top priority. Natural Resource Management deals with managing the way in which people and natural landscapes interact. It brings together land use planning, water management, bio-diversity conservation, and the future sustainability of industries like agriculture, fishing, wildlife and forestry. It recognizes that people and their livelihoods rely on the health and productivity of our landscapes, and their actions as stewards of the land play a critical role in maintaining this health and productivity.

As a collective, we have been partnering with farmers so that we can all succeed. We want to assure that not only our farms are productive, but that in any way we can serve the universal farming community in Georgia and throughout the Southeast, we can and will.
